Hendricks Football is pleased to offer a comprehensive, non-contact football curriculum for local area football players. This camp has been specifically designed for players ages 7-14 (grades 2nd through 8th).  Kids learn to throw, catch, defend, form block, form tackle and explode out of a stance with proper technique and improved speed. Equally important is our emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem, good health and fitness.  You DO NOT need to be a football player to participate in camp. We will focus on the following areas:
  1. COACHABILITY-. We will teach these young men how to be a coachable player.  Our camp will be organized, timely, and disciplined.
  2. TEAM-. Each player will be put on a team and will play games throughout the camp. Each player on the team must do his part to be successful.
  3. FUNDAMENTALS-. The basic fundamentals will be taught in the following fundamental areas:
    1. Blocking / Shedding Blocks
    2. Tackling
    3. Passing
    4. Receiving
    5. Man Coverage Techniques
    6. Ball Running Skills.
    7. Pursuit
  4. SPEED AND CONDITIONING-. The focus will be on  teaching techniques that will help improve the speed of each camper. These drills are the same ones used by the Kingsway High School Football Team.
  5. COMPETITION- We will challenge each camper to improve every minute they are in camp. There will be the 5v5 Flag Football, an Ultimate football challenge, a punt and kick competition, save the TD drill, and etc.  The total turf experience will provide many opportunities to compete.

Supervision Policy
Parents and guardians, your children will be supervised at all times. There will be a camp worker watching the campers during all phases of our camp. Campers will be supervised upon arrival, and checkout at the end of the camp day.
